Thanks, Anna. Happily, I did have a chance to talk briefly with some of the poets and musicians and to express my appreciation of their art. All the best, Allan |

Hi Anna, What a beautiful photo of all of us! I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful opportunity to read my poem at Saturday's event. I had such a nice time. I loved the music, the singing, the dances and the poetry. I was mentioning to Elka and Jovan how beautiful Chinese culture is. Even though I don't understand the words, but I get a feeling of peace, nature and spirituality from it. Your little boy is so cute and so intelligent. He read the poems so well. When will they show the event on the Chinese television program? I would love to watch it, if I know what day and what time. Thank you again for your kindness in having me participate and for making us feel at home. See you soon, :) Josie |
Dear Anna, Your event was spectacular. The musicians, the dancer, the singers and the poets (both Canadian - Chinese and Canadian - other) were magnificent (including myself, of course). Ms. Luo asked me to speak on behalf of the library and mention the Early Harvest Competition, which I did. It is hard to fit everything in the way you did. You did an excellent job. The certificate was an added unexpected bonus. Perhaps, next time, you could e-mail Ms. Luo everyone's name before the event, and that would allow her the opportunity to get everyone's names professionally printed on the certificates. Then, she could present them to each performer during the afternoon. This is my suggestion. Fondly, Bunny |
Hi Anna, Thanks a lot for the excellent job you did on Saturday. It was wonderful. I will email you some photos after I get a chance. And, thank Ms. Iskov for her suggestion. I am sure we will do it better next time. Keep in touch. Hui Ping |

I was very pleased with this event. This is real multiculturalism, where we share and integrate our cultures. If PowerPoint is to be used (and it should) then there has to be a better lighting arrangement. It would also be helpful if the participants had a copy of the program or if a readable version were projected. Thanks Elka Ruth Enola |
